Speaker Details: Ethan Lazarus, MD, FOMA

Dr. Lazarus is the director of Clinical Nutrition Center in Greenwood Village, Colorado. He works with a skilled team dedicated to helping people achieve long-term weight loss. Dr Lazarus is board-certified in both Family Medicine and in Obesity Medicine.

He is the current president of the Obesity Medicine Association and has received many awards including Obesity Medicine Clinician of the Year and Obesity Medicine Advocate of the year. He serves as our delegate in the American Medical Association and was instrumental in assisting the AMA to recognize obesity as a disease. He started an obesity caucus at the AMA where delegates from state and specialty societies meet twice a year to try and improve obesity treatment and prevention strategies.
